New Maruti Swift 2011
The wait was finally over on 17th august 2011 when New Maruti Swift was launched in the market. It has been a boon for the country as this is the latest international version which is already a success globally. This new model has every quality that lacked in the older one. This time the new Maruti Swift has come up in both petrol and diesel variants. The price of the car varies from 4.2 lakhs to 6.38 lakhs depending upon the different model you choose.
There were a lot of differences observed between both the previous as well as the new model of Maruti Swift. As per the reviews of the people, it is concluded that the changes brought are much better and refined once. The new model has the following changes;
- All the better and bigger head lamps,
- Round shape fog lights,
- Steering wheel with music controls,
- The new centre panel has dash integrated music system,
- New front and rear bumpers that would suite well with the car.
- It even has an automatic climate control system and,
- Turn indicators integrated outside rear view mirrors.
And if this wasn’t enough, the design and styling of the new model is even better and they have tried to make it as comfortable as possible for the buyers. It will give you all the convenience while driving or traveling due to the comfortable interiors. Not just the interiors but even the exteriors make the car look rich and fit to be seen because of the styling and better design. 
When it comes to the upgraded version of a car, the first thing that appears is the petrol engine of any car. So the engine of this new Maruti swift model is a 1197cc petrol engine and it manages to generate 87PS at 6000 rpm and a decent torque of 114Nm at 4000 rpm. Whereas the 1248cc diesel mill remains the same and offers a 75PS at 4000 rpm and torque of 190Nm at 2000 rpm which is way above the requirements.
Every aspect gives a feel of change. There are certain points that are a disappointment like lack of legroom; the boot space is not comfortable. But comparing its positive aspects, such small things don’t matter much. The new model is just a dream come true in affordable rates. It would prove to be an excellent drive for everyone.
